DPK Carpentry & Decorating was founded by Dan, a City & Guilds qualified carpenter and expert painter and decorator with nearly two decades of professional experience. Dan began his career in the trade at 18, learning the full range of carpentry and joinery skills on the job before formalising his expertise with City & Guilds certification — one of the most respected qualifications in the UK trades industry.
Over those 19 years, Dan has worked across the full spectrum of residential and commercial projects: from bespoke fitted wardrobes in period Beaconsfield townhouses, to high-spec apartment fit-outs in Kensington and Chelsea; from full interior and exterior decoration programmes in Marlow and Henley-on-Thames, to kitchen installations and engineered flooring throughout Maidenhead, Reading and Wokingham.
Dan founded DPK in 2020 with a straightforward ethos: deliver genuinely skilled craftsmanship at a fair and transparent price, treat clients and their homes with respect, and never cut corners on materials, preparation or finish. Every project DPK undertakes — large or small — is personally managed and executed by Dan himself.
